About
Ravine DSP is a one-person software company founded by Craig Lopez.
I built Inter::State because I wanted to have the same kind of fun using a controller on a full mix that I have using a two-channel mixer when I DJ. I wanted plugin chains to feel playable.
I have been using Cubase since high school in the mid 90s, and I have been obsessed with plugins since their earliest days. Over the years, I kept running into the same problem: incredible tools, but fragmented workflows. Too many detached windows. Too many custom mappings that only made sense once. Too much friction between the idea and the result.
Inter::State is my answer to that.
Ravine DSP is not about chasing novelty. It is about speeding up workflow and bringing hands-on control back into music software. Not by replacing the tools you already know, but by helping them work together better.
Early in development, I worked with Manish Verma, the dev who helped get the project off the ground. Inter::State is now developed by me, but I’m grateful for that early contribution.
Why Ravine?Because things that flow deep, flow quietly.
Ravine DSP sits between the giants. It is not here to outshout them. It is here to connect the tools you already love into something more coherent, more tactile, and more useful.
I am a solo developer, which means I can build the products I genuinely want to use for myself. No committee. No trend-chasing. Just focused tools, direct support, and a long-term interest in making software that earns its place.
Some people will know me from Tutorial[ism], the YouTube channel that evolved into Ravine DSP.
If Ravine DSP has a philosophy, it is simple:
build tools that keep you in flow.
