Third-Party Notices for InterState

This document identifies third-party software, frameworks, SDKs, services, and tools used by or associated with Inter::State, Inter::State[Bridge], and related helper utilities published by Ravine DSP Limited.

This notice is provided for attribution and compliance purposes. It does not replace the license terms of any third-party component. Each third-party component remains subject to its own license, terms, notices, and disclaimers.

1. JUCE Framework

Component: JUCE framework and JUCE modules  

Provider: Raw Material Software Limited / JUCE

Inter;;State uses JUCE framework modules for audio plugin development, audio processing, graphics, user interface, plugin hosting, file handling, networking/local communication, cryptography, product unlocking integration points, and platform abstraction.

JUCE is distributed under its own licensing terms.

2. Moonbase Licensing Infrastructure

Component: `moonbase_JUCEClient` and Moonbase licensing services  

Provider: Moonbase

Inter::State may use Moonbase licensing infrastructure to activate, validate, verify, and manage licenses, trials, subscriptions, or other product entitlements.

Moonbase components and services are subject to Moonbase's own terms, licenses, service terms, and privacy practices. Users should refer to the applicable Moonbase documentation and terms where relevant.

3. Klangfreund LUFS Meter Second-Order IIR Filter

Component: Second-order IIR filter code used for LUFS/K-weighting processing

Inter::State includes and adapts the `SecondOrderIIRFilter` code from Klangfreund's LUFS Meter project for loudness/LUFS analysis in the AutoGain system.

4. Steinberg VST3 SDK / VST3 Plugin Technology

Inter::State supports the VST3 plugin format and may build, host, scan, or install VST3 plugin bundles depending on platform and product configuration.

VST, VST3, and related marks are trademarks of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH. VST3 SDK usage is subject to Steinberg's applicable license terms and trademark guidelines.

5. Apple Audio Unit and macOS Platform Technologies

Components: Audio Unit plugin format support, macOS APIs, package building/signing/notarization tools  

Provider: Apple Inc.

On macOS, Inter::State may support Audio Unit plugin builds, Audio Unit hosting/scanning behavior where available, Apple platform APIs, code signing, notarization, and installer packaging through Apple developer tools and operating-system facilities.

6. Microsoft Windows SDK and Platform Technologies

Components: Windows APIs, named shared memory, installer/runtime platform APIs

On Windows, Inter::State may use Windows platform APIs and SDK components for plugin operation, shared memory, file paths, process behavior, signing, and installer integration.

Microsoft, Windows, and related marks are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft technologies are subject to Microsoft's applicable developer agreements and SDK terms.

7. Inno Setup

Component: Windows installer creation  

Provider: Jordan Russell and contributors

The Windows installer for Inter::State may be built using Inno Setup. Inno Setup is an installer authoring system subject to its own license terms.

If the Windows installer redistributes any Inno Setup runtime components or otherwise requires attribution under the applicable Inno Setup license, those terms should be included with the released installer package.

8. Third-Party Audio Plugins Loaded by Users

Inter::State is designed to scan and host third-party audio plugins installed by the user. These plugins are not developed, supplied, verified, licensed, or endorsed by Ravine DSP Limited unless expressly stated otherwise.

Each third-party plugin remains subject to its own license terms, copy-protection system, privacy practices, warranties, limitations, and support arrangements. Users are responsible for ensuring that any plugins they scan or load are legally licensed, compatible, stable, and safe to use.

9. Operating System and DAW Integrations

Inter::State operates inside or alongside third-party digital audio workstations (DAWs), operating systems, audio drivers, plugin wrappers, security tools, and other host environments.

Those products and platforms are owned by their respective providers and are governed by their own terms, license agreements, privacy policies, and support arrangements.

10. Trademarks

All trademarks, service marks, product names, company names, and logos mentioned in this document are the property of their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation unless expressly stated.

11. Notice Maintenance

Ravine DSP Limited maintains this document as part of release compliance. For each shipped release, this notice should remain aligned with the third-party components distributed with that release, and any required full license texts should be included in installer payloads, documentation, or other release materials as required by the applicable licenses.

When available and required, accompanying release materials may include additional third-party attribution files or license texts to satisfy component-specific redistribution obligations.
