Getting Started

Inter::State is a deep host environment built to sit around the plugins you already own.

If you are new to it, start here:

1. Install InterState and InterState Bridge

2. Load InterState on any track

3. Open The User Manual from the Main Menu

4. Load InterState Bridge if you want project-wide control or hardware integration

5. Build your first rack, macro, and routing setup

6. Save a preset once you have a workflow you want to keep

If you want the fastest path in, start with the Quick Start section of the manual.

Trial

How does the 7-day trial work?

The 7-day trial is the full version of InterState with no feature restrictions.

After 7 days, the plugin will continue to load, but audio will be interrupted by brief cutouts every few seconds until you activate a license.

This lets you evaluate the real product in your own sessions, with your own plugins, controllers, and DAW setup.

LICENSES AND ACTIVATION

How licensing works

Licensing and activation are handled through Moonbase.

If you have purchased Inter::State, use your account and license email to activate the full version.

If you run into activation issues, contact admin@ravinedsp.com and include:

- the email used for purchase

- your OS version

- your DAW

- the plugin format you are using

- a short description of the problem

If Moonbase is showing a licensing issue, that is usually the fastest route to a fix.

Downloads

What is included?

Your Inter::State download includes:

- InterState

- InterState Bridge

- the included EULA

- the included privacy policy

InterState Bridge is included at no extra cost.

SYSTEM AND COMPATIBILITY

What to expect

Inter::State is designed to work across a wide range of plugins, controllers, and DAWs.

It has been tested extensively, but a product in this category always meets edge cases in the field because compatibility depends on the exact combination of:

- DAW

- operating system

- plugin format

- third-party plugins

- MIDI controllers

- host routing behaviour

If you hit a compatibility issue, please report it. That feedback is part of how support for more real-world setups gets broadened over time.

FAQ

Is the trial restricted?

No. The 7-day trial is the full version with no feature restrictions.

What happens after the 7-day trial ends?

Audio will be interrupted by brief cutouts every few seconds until the plugin is activated.

Is Inter::State[Bridge] included?

Yes. Inter::State[Bridge] is included with Inter::State at no extra cost.

Where should I start if I am new?

Start with the User Manual and the Quick Start section first.

Can Inter::State host instruments?

No. Inter::State is an effects host designed for audio effects that accept audio input.

Why might behaviour differ between setups?

Because plugin hosts sit in the middle of many moving parts: plugins, controllers, DAWs, operating systems, and host-specific routing rules.

How do I get help fastest?

Send a direct support email with your DAW, OS, plugin format, and a clear description of the issue.

DAW-Specific Notes

If you use Logic Pro, please check the Logic Pro section of the user manual before installing or troubleshooting. InterState includes host-specific notes and workarounds for Logic.

If you use Ableton Live on Windows, see the manual note on HiDPI and blurry plugin UI behavior.

AAX / Pro Tools:
AAX support is not available at this time. We plan to add it in a future release.

CONTACT

Direct support

If you need help, email me directly:
craig@ravinedsp.com

The clearer the report, the faster I can reproduce and fix it.

SOFT LAUNCH NOTE

Inter::State is being released through a soft launch first.

That is intentional. A host environment this deep can be beta tested extensively, but broader compatibility is ultimately proven through real-world use across more plugins, controllers, and DAWs.

If you are joining early, that feedback loop is part of what helps make the product stronger.
